I like google reader...the fact that you get updated info from your favorite sites without having to search all over the place.
Flickr is going to take some getting used to. Between downloading and uploading and going from here to there, half of my day has gone by! My Flikr photo is posted below.

Google Reader and other RSS readers are really nice for organizing information, I'm glad you found out about them using this!
And, Flickr can be addicting, I love playing with it, and now that they added Picnik to edit photos, I spent even more time! But, it's fun and you could use it in a library in an interesting way...I'm using it at College of St. Benedict/St. John's University (which is linked on the Things website) and it's very well received right now!
