23 mobile things 4

I chose the Flipboard app. I subscribed to Library Cool which has lots of interesting articles such as, "Brain function boosted for days after reading a novel"' Drs. prescribe books to treat depression" and "Top 100 most viewed articles on Wikipedia during 2013". There are many useful articles relating to libraries, so, yes, referring to this subscription could be very useful for a library professional.

I have the google app. I use it the most just to find information. I was intrigued with the exercise app, the wifi finder and the red laser barcode QR scanner app. I always wondered how you accessed those codes. I would probably use it if I had an iPhone. I don't take my ipad with me everywhere I go.

23 mobile things 2

I recently updated my IPad 2 to ios7. I watched the video and read the tips relating to this device. It was somewhat difficult to tell what was available on my ipad since the tips covered iPhones as well. I learned more about the control center. Nice to know you can disable it if it keeps popping up on your screen, which annoyed me before. I do not see a feature on my device to turn off the air drop to save battery life? I learned what all the icons are for on the control center. So much information!!

23 Mobile Things 1

I would like to be more skilled using my ipad. I want to keep up with all this new technology. I registered for Twitter, but still have questions about how it's used. I could spend days on one thing! Guess I'll just dive in and keep going!
